When you arrive in Ecuador’s capital of Quito — which lies at 2,800 meters above sea level at the foot of the Pichincha Volcano — you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.

Your local guide would start the travel tour at the downtown area, well known as Quito Colonial.
The old city of Quito contains a rich and attractive diversity of churches, structures and historical sites.
"La Virgen del Panecillo": We will move to the Mirador del Panecillo, where is the
giant metal statue of the "Winged Virgin". This Virgin is the guardian of the city, also known as "Virgen
de Legarda", from where you can admire a beautiful landscape of Quito.
"La Plaza De La Independencia": It's the main square of the city of Quito where the
Government Palace is located the Absobispal Palace, the municipality and the Independence's monument.
"La Iglesia De San Francisco": The Plaza San Francisco is located in the historic
center of the city. It's dominated by the imposing facade of the Church and convent of San Francisco,
from which it takes its name, settling in one of the most representative urban scenes of the city since
colonial times. Its structure is the largest architectural complex within the historic centers of Iberoamerica.

"Iglesia Santo Domingo":We will visit the convent of Santo Domingo, we will visit the church,
the chapel of the Virgen del Rosario, the catacombs and the beautiful domes.
The chapel of the Virgen del Rosario is a magnificent example of the baroque, we will be able to observe
its details and the brightness of the gold leaf. The image of the Virgin was a gift from Carlos V, brought
from Seville in 1548, the construction of the chapel was completed in 1650.
We will go up to the top to observe the roof and the church from above and then we will enjoy the best view
of Quito from the green domes, there are several viewpoints to admire the traditional neighborhoods of the city.
"Basilica de voto Nacional": to be the largest neo-gothic temple in America, its structure and style is compared with two
of the great cathedrals around the world: St. Patrick's Cathedral (New York) and Notre Dame (Paris).
PACARI chocolate tastings are a pleasure for all the senses. Through the different sensations,
it is about differentiating the qualities of the chocolates, the main idea is focused on carefully testing, using the
different senses: sight, smell, hearing and taste.
All your senses will be delighted with each bar that you taste and, in addition, you will learn the process and history of cocoa in Ecuador.
You’ll also have a chance to view the Mitad del Mundo ("Middle of the World") monument, which was built to commemorate the French scientists
who in the 1830s made history by determining the shape of the planet thanks to their studies at this location. And just a few hundred meters
away, you can visit the Intiñan Solar Museum, an amusing museum that provides outdoor exhibits of astronomical geography, a solar clock and
explanations about the importance of Ecuador’s geographical location. To many people, what makes Intiñan even more interesting than the “official”
equatorial monument is that you’ll have a chance to participate in several experiments, such as watching water go down a drain in a different direction
when placed only inches away from either side of the equator, or balancing an egg on a nail, or using an ancient sun dial, and more. After the visit,
we will drive you back to your hotel.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will leave the hotel and
head south along the famous “Avenue of the Volcanoes” until
reaching Cotopaxi National Park. We will reach the main entrance
of Cotopaxi National Park, a spectacular ecological reserve
covering 139 square miles (36,000 hectares). Within this area
is the magnificent Cotopaxi Volcano, which rises 3.66 miles
(5,897 meters) above sea level. Your guide will explain the
culture and natural history of the Andean ecosystems here.
After a few more minutes of travel, we'll head to the shore
of Lake Limpiopungo to admire a variety of birds and sometimes
even wild horses. Here we will enjoy a picnic while we observe
the magnificent cone of Cotopaxi (on clear days), which seems
like a postcard perfect view. A short walk around the lake will
also allow you to admire the Andean flora and fauna of the area.

AM: This morning we will explore You will then be taken
on a tour of a farmer’s market in Quito. In this bustling
market, you will have the opportunity to try the various
products, from coffee and cocoa to fruits and vegetables.
As you take in the colors, scents, and sounds, your guide
will tell you all about Ecuadorian cuisine and fine cuisine.
The menu we have prepared is an example of ingredients from the 4 regions
of Ecuador combined with subtle touches from our chef.

To begin the preparation, the restaurant will be conditioned to present an
exhibition of the materials that each passenger will be using for the preparation.
PM: In the afternoon visit Quito’s colonial center: the best-preserved
historic district in the Americas. Here, you can learn about Quito’s

On this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit a rose-growing company in the Ecuadorian Andes. During this excursion, you will be able to arrange your own bouquet of roses, possibly finding yourself in the middle of a field filled with colorful flowers, or posing next to ones taller than you. Continuing this day of activities, you will visit the most important vineyard in the area to see for yourself how wine is made.
